Kristin and Kendra's training principals are based from
Classical Dressage, and are both successful trainers and
competitors. They currently have a wide client base and
variety of horses in training.
Both the rider's position and the horse's relaxation and
acceptance of the work are emphasized. Work for either partner
is never pushed beyond their capabilities.
GEC offers various dressage events throughout the
year.
Dane, an imported Danish
Warmblood, is in training with Kristin Corcoran and owned by
Gayle Chipman. Dane is currently schooling 2nd and 3rd level
dressage. Dane and Kristin competed at the Adult Team
Competition in Culpepper, VA. They were Champion 2nd Level
individual rider and Reserve Champion Team over the weekend.
Scoring a personal best score of 70%+.
Fred owned and ridden (in this
photo) by Michele French, demonstrates a working trot. Fred, a
Hanoverian Cross, is in training with Kendra Hall and he
continues his "new" education as a dressage horse at G.E.C.
In July 2009 Fred and Kendra scored High Score of the day
with a 72.5% in first level.
